Pictured above are both an 8x10 and a 6x8 original oil mounted upon dark ‘Gator Foam’ surround panels and placed on suitable size easels (neither included). Their scale will make either size a comfortable fit on most any bookshelf, table or countertop.

Above are shown examples of floating the full panel within a frame of your choosing. The first 8x10 image (15.5x18.5 frame) was mounted upon a panel that matches a color found in the painting and has a ruled line added for detail. The second 6x8 image (13.5x15.5 frame) also uses the full image and was simply mounted upon a dark panel. The choices are limitless and your framer can help you make these choices. I strongly suggest you float all small panel paintings in this manner to avoid losing a significant portion of the art.
